It happens regularly that the CSCN gets approached by people for an older dog.
Sometimes we have those, but they usually come with a backgroundstory. People can part with a dog for a variety of reasons; divorce, no connection, health, behavior etc.
Dogs that carry a background with them should be taken into consideration by the new owner. The new owner should realize that it take a lot of time and energy, and must have a lot of spare time to let the dog get used to the new situation. Sometimes a course can be taken to let the dog and new owner get closer, get used to eachother and turn undesired behavior into good behavior.
The new owner should like to walk, don’t work full days, have lots of patience and have a lot of love to give. The new owner must realize that the Clumber needs a lot of attention. Also money, to go to a vet when needed is required.
